Challenge:
The Kirby family came to me for a portrait of their children. The challenge was to incorporate things that the kids really loved and make the piece something that represented this period of their life.

I was presented with pictures that were limited in their view. So I chose to fuse several pictures into the final painting.

Solution:
Pokemon and Butterflies were the answer.

I painted Vince with his favorite Pokemon and Claudia with butterflies and her favorite dress.
