Challenge:
Alan L. Forrest came to me with a desire to build a website that reflected both his business and ethical perspectives.

This website challenged me on all fronts. The design needed to be friendly yet memorable. The site had to be fast loading. And the programming had to be optimized to run smoothly and transparently.

Solution:
We choose to use the deep woods photo as our motif. Thus playing off of Alan's last name and silently expressing his zen-like approach to Community Development.

The Projects engine was developed using a database driven PERL rpogram that allows him to update his own site. This also allows him to update the InFocus section of his home page.
